Although many organizations have contributed to the vision behind the Franklin Avenue Park, the Franklin Avenue Development Committee (FADC) has served as the backbone of all recent efforts related to the planning and implementation of the project. Formed in 2017, the FADC stands on the shoulders of many community advocates who came before it. Building on and expanding upon such efforts, the FADC has committed itself to reinvigorating the core business district along historic Franklin Avenue. The Franklin Avenue Park is a key part of this broader strategy, and it is for this reason that the FADC has labored long and hard to bring the vision for the park to life.
